Welcome to the Kinette Club of Edmonton

The Kinette Club of Edmonton was chartered on April 1st, 1939; we are the largest women’s service organization in Canada. Our heart is with service work but we like to have fun too. We serve our community and also believe in fellowship and personal development.We are a dynamic group of women from all walks of life who share a common goal – to help make our community a better place to live. We are part of the Kin Canada Association.

Kin Canada - Founded by Hal Rogers on Feb. 20, 1920, Kin Canada is the nation's largest all-Canadian service club organization. Kinsmen, Kinette and Kin clubs across the country work to better their communities, enhance the well-being of Canadians and improve the environment. The Association boasts a proud 93-year history dedicated to fostering life-long friendships while ‘Serving the Community’s Greatest Need.’

National Charity:
Kin Canada has been a partner in the fight against cystic fibrosis since 1964. During this time, Kin members have raised over $40 million in support of the work of Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

  • Meetings take place at the Kinsmen Club house, River Valley Place
  • General Meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of the month (Sep-June) at 6:00pm
  • Executive Meetings are on the 4th Thursday of the month (Aug-June) at 6:00pm
