How do I become a member? Members shall be admitted to the club under the following procedure except in the case of members transferring to the club. ¨ After attending 3 club meetings, regular or executive or a combination of both, a proposal for membership (with the endorsement of two members in good standing) will be submitted to the club Executive for approval (2/3 majority); ¨ Each membership proposal will be posted in the club bulletin prior to the General Meeting; ¨ Before membership proposals are voted on, each proposed member will introduce themselves to the club at the General Meeting and state their reasons for joining; ¨ Each proposal will be voted on (2/3rds majority required) by the club at the General Meeting; ¨ Each new member will receive a New Member’s Kit, including a copy of “I’m a Member of the Kinette Club of Edmonton – Now What?”
What are expectations of members? (I can't answer that..) This is what our bylaws say: Each member must attend regular club meetings (general and/or executive) unless arrangements are made with the Membership Officer(s) and participate in club events (fundraisers or service projects). Yearly Dues paid in full.

Who do I contact if I have a service project idea? Service Director
Who do I contact if I have a fundraising idea? Fundraising Director
Where can I get more information about a project? There are project binders for almost every fundraiser and/or service project we have done, see your Service Director and/or ask an Executive member.
If I am chair of a project (Service or Fundraiser), where do I get the Project Report form and/or Cheque Requisition? You can download the form HERE and/or ask the Treasurer or Service Director.
Who do I contact if I want to be a committee member or help with a project? Contact the President or Membership Officer and they can give you more information.
How do I stay up to date on what is going on with the Club or upcoming events? Emails reminders are sent out, also check out the bulletin for minutes of meetings, information on upcoming events and also see the calendar on website.
